just wondering if anyone has had this happening to them. Came out to my bike today to find a wet patch of pavement under my bike. Fuel had been coming out of the overflow tube. Looks like it had been doing it for a while judging from the area. Shouldnt the vent in the top of the tank prevent this? And when i started it up, fuel immeditately started leaking from the overflow tube until it was running for a while.

You get a similar effect if you have the petcock on PRIme and there is a problem with a float needle or float.

There's also a fuel overflow that discards fuel that sloshes out of the tank while you fill it, but I don't think that could dump fuel while the bike is just parked.
You cannot escape our master plan!

i leave it in the on position. So maybe the float is sticking then??

The Buddha

Float sticking and busted petcock... On should only let fuel in the line flow into float when its off... if more of it flowed and into the airbox and onto the pavement... the on is actually like prime... busted...
Cool.
