Well my weekend kinda sucked. I started with $130, now i have $30. I went to the honda hoot and it was $15 just for a bunch of damn vendors. Then I found out the bike i was supposed to buy got ripped out from underneath me to some other guy. So im a little ticked off. Plus gas prices have gone back up some. i wonder what will happen next.  :dunno:

What bike were you buying?

Jared

Could have been worse... Your waterpump on your truck could have gone up on saturday on the way to the Job...Then towed it home yourself Sunday and taken it all apart ...and spent 150$ more than you made saturday fixing it( yourself) ...in the process ruining a gasket and breaking a bolt off  and a waterpump stud off.... and have just finished fixing it all 10 minutes ago.... (My weekend.).

So what bike did you get swooped out of?

Mine was OK... I am sore as hell and it loks like this week is going to be worse... I bough a few 100 lbs of 7/8th steel, some 6061 T6 aluminum, bent and cut some handlebars, drilled and tapped some caliper carrier adapters, Ground the steering stem out of the fork assy off the F2 werase gave me, hauled some egg rock, some dirt, and knocked in a couple of lawn borders ... Damn I am sore. Oh yea did I mention I am a total weakling.
Cool.

Did a 150 miles yesterday. Just went riding. Needed it. Up 9 to four corners, 35 to Alice's, down Woodside, back up Woodside, did the loop (84 to La Honda, Pescadero, Gazo's Creek, Hwy1, Bonnie Doon, Empire Grade, 9 to four corners, 35 back to Alice's (this would be the route I would choose for the 1st Annual Bay Area GS Ride, which sounds like Saturday, July10th)), back 35 to 9 and home.

Well, my weekend started off by being pulled over for going 20 mph over the speed limit, (sign had just changed, cop was hiding in the woods) then I discovered that I had a warrant out for my arrest, no idea why, but I later found out... so I spent friday night in jail... posted bond and was out at 530 am saturday morning... only to find out this morning when i called the court to find out what the heck was going on, that the warrant was issued and then repealed due to a clerical error at the courthouse over a ticket i had recieved over 2 years ago... they kindly informed me that they will send me my bond money back in 10-12 days...  how nice of them...
suffice it to say, I had a less than happy weekend

Mmmm.  cummuterguy wins the award for the worst weekend.

Me, I had that large, beautiful, greasy pork sausage sandwich.  By any measure I know, that's a fantastic weekend.

I think you get the shitty weekend prize...

Sue the sumbitches for false arrest; that night in the slammer is worth:  defamation of character, false imprisonment, pain and suffering, god knows what else...  MAKE THE BASTARDS PAY!!

at this point, i just want to stay off the radar... I gotta say, at least the cop who arrested me was cool enough to let me call someone to pick up the bike. he also let me give my helmet and jacket over, and unload my pockets, so I didn't have to worry about the jail "losing" my cellphone, radio, etc...

the cop was just doing his job, he didn't know me from the next guy... I would, however, like to have a little chat with the idiots in the clerk of courts office anyway, I have tomorrow off, so I'm gonna just take a nice long ride all day, since I didn't get to ride any this weekend.
