advise on bodywork and fairings

I'm wondering if it is possible to use the fairing and headlight from an FZR600 on my GS.  I'm not bad with a wrench, but I'm not great.  Also, does anybody know if I can use the rear body work from a GSXR1100 on my GS?  I found the bodywork on e-bay and it's not too expensive.  Thanks for the help

I've been on this board for awhile and I haven't heard of either of these swaps...not sayin it isn't possible tho :dunno: Are the dimensions of these bikes similiar to ours or do u just like the look of them?

If you're looking for something lighter you can go with an R6 tail...I believe pantablo's site has info on that. Also a CBRXXX racetail fits our bikes as well. Or JamesG has his solotail for sale.

The rear bodywork looks identical in shape as best I can tell.  The front fairing I would have to rig a mount, and redo the wiring (which I am a bit scared of).  I'm hoping to get advice before I waste some money.   Especially since I'm a broke college student.
