Newbie GS500F question

Thanks! I love the bike! I'm finding that shifting can sometimes be interesting. Have you had your 600mi service done yet? I'm still only @ 100miles so i have some more to go to get it broken in. Does anyone have an idea of how much I should be charged for the 600 mi service and what the dealer does to the bike?

Mine cost me $65.13 with a service coupon I found (normally it would have been $75 + tax). They changed the oil & checked the bike over, including chain, brakes, cables, etc. They left a stupid black greasy hand print on my rear plastic though.

Isn't the dealer supposed to tighten the head bolts or something? I was reading the manual lastnight while half-asleep and remember something about inspecting all the main areas, but to tighten the headbolts of the engine and changing the oil/filter?
