finding bike help

hey all, great forum, im finishing my msf classes this week, and im interested in getting a gs500e, everybody tells me its a great first bike.  Im located in southern california, and im having real trouble finding this bike used, last couple weeks ive been looking online and in cycle trader and havent found much.

Any suggestions?

I would try looking @ a Honda Hawk GT, I posted one for sale, but can't ship all the way to CA. Great First Bike, nice and light and easy to manage. Here's a Pic of it to see:
