does anyone know of an easier way to remove those warning stickers on the tank and the fairings? I used a hair dryer to remove one of the stickers but most of the glue stayed on and i got a blister rubbing it off.

use goo gone spray.  the sticker glue comes right off.  keep using the hairdryer to peel it off then use goo gone to clean up the glue.

Peanut butter will dissolve the remaining gunge.
Leave it on for 15 minutes or so.

Reminds me of another Granny's little helper: To get chain goo and other tough, greasy stuff off your hands, use plain old butter: Take a little in your hands and massage it in; it will dissolve the black grease and then wash off easily with soap. Leaves your skin smooth as well, unlike some of the heavy duty hand cleaners. Works also for th black stains left by pine resin and tar that you accidentally pick up on the beach.

I used the citris goo gone spray from lowes, and my girlfriend's hair dryer... worked great... I also did it on a hot day with a lot of sunshine...

The smell of the goo gone disappears quickly... how about the peanut butter?
