Cannibalized Tank

Since one of the mounting tabs for the tank broke off in my get off I am contemplating gettin a tank of a different bike and puting some new mounting tabs for that tank, anybody have any recommendations, suggestions, ideas, etc ...

just keep in mind that the gs is a really slim biek compared to most others on the market if you are leaning toward sportbike gas tanks
