Coming to work tonight, to get off my forecourt I was doing a left turn at full lock, braked which pushed the front end down just as the front tyre slipped off the one inch kerb, should not have been a problem but my mind was alswhere, personal issue troubling me, let that be a lesson! and I managed to ovebalance to the left at very slow speed. Hurt my left shoulder a bit, left knee and left foot pinned to the deck by the left bar-end. How I got into that position defeats me but I did. Bike hardly damaged, it landed nice and softly on me! There is a bit of a gouge just under the Suzi emblem on the left side, not realy a problem but I thought I might try and gring it out with a dremmel or drill and mini-millstone.

I suppose it could end up looking more of a mess than when I started, anyone got any experience of grinding-polishing out gouges and scratches from the ally???

In Cricket the testicular guard, or Box, was introduced in 1874. The helmet was introduced in 1974. Is there a message??

Yeah, that's a bugger.  I dropped mine the second day I had it.  Took it off of the center stand while standing beside it and it started tipping the opposite way.  Learned that lesson.  I too got the emblem scratched.  I used a chisel to take out the pieces that were sticking up and just sanded it once it was relatively smooth.  Painted it black and looks good.  You can hardly tell.  Just be careful since it's a soft aluminum.
