04 Bar volunteer... - Someone... Close to or in NC.

OK need a guinea pig... an 04 profile bar has been tacked together... dont ride with it... it might break, OK you can make vroom vroom noises ... It was meant to be broken and made right, OK OK it is a bit better than just breaking off in your hand... but still, I will have to bend the rod to fit and drill the center pieces and plug weld it and do a jig etc etc, so for now I have a bar slapped together... Fit it on a 04, sit on it, and turn it side to side and see if it clobbers anyhting... oK dont actually clobber anyhting... just see. Also see if its comfy enough, aggressive enough ... anyhthing else.
OK Davipu volunteered for it a few weeks ago... Does it still stand davipu... - OK that didn't pan out... his friend traded in his F...  :(

nope, can't do it anymore. Doug traded his bike for a jeep last week. stupid bastard. he siad that he needed room for the wife and kid on the way. i told him to get a side car.  but if there is anyone in the NC area that whould like to volunteer thier bike I'll be more than willing to put some bars on and take some pics.

Yup Don, the case savers got done and sent to powdercoat, and handle bars are under way. The 04+'es need some help. BTW come to my house again when you come to charlotte, your expertise is needed... the eli is apart, and the cylinders and pistons need a look see....

I'll be up there Tues. evening.  I'll give you a call once I get checked into the hotel.
