My new fender and fairings arrived today, I had them shipped to my office. I opened the box right away, and took the parts out to inspect them. When I was holding the fender and turning it around, my coworker Catherine asked what it was, and before I could answer my other coworker Paul grabbed it and said "It's a hat, can't you see?" He proceeded to put it on...

And then said "Catherine didn't you know Meighan is in the new Aliens movie, this is part of her costume".

Hey John... canadian humor... try to get someone to send you a couple seasons of "Royal canadian air farce". You'll die laughing. 99-2004 I also want to see, so after you get it... pass it on to me...

our neghbors to the North are responsible for many of "our" most famous comedians.

Rick Moranis
Dan Akroyd
Jim Carrey
Mike Myers
John Candy  (R.I.P.)
Eugene Levy
Phil Hartman (R.I.P.)
Rich Little
Catherine O'Hara
Dave Foley
Norm McDonald
Howie Mandel

Sadly, they also harbor deserters from our military, but on balance between that and the beer+comedians+Pam Anderson, I'd say it's at least a push...well, maybe Pam titls it in Canada's favor.

Been to Newfoundland, lottsa trees.

Hey John, how do you feel about New Zeeland humour, the Prime Minister of NZ was recently asked what he thought of a scheme started by the regional govt of South Australia to attract brits, specifically Londoners to emigrate to S.A. The guy said it was a good thing as it would raise the average I.Q. in both places.

Wallabies, don't have a go at me, it was the Kiwi what said it.

I seem to remember one of the South Park creators being Canadian... probably a reason they get it so bad on the show :)

I've always been a fan of the Pythons humor too.  Life of Brian, the Meaning of Life, Holy Grail, flying circus

Off topic a little... was watching Monster Garage tonight and one of the builders was from northern Canada.  There's a part where he says "I could really go for some back bacon and Tom Whorton's coffee.... you have no idea what I just said"
He would be correct, what the *&^% is back bacon????

70 Camguy,

Back bacon, In UK and I think Canada, OZ, and NZ we tend to consume copies quantities of bacon, English breakfast, Eggs, bacon, this that and the other, whereas in Hotels around the world American Breakfast means pretty much the same with ham instead of bacon. bacon being thin cuts of cured pork often smoked, usually served fried or grilled. It normally comes in three cuts, "STREAKY" from the cut we call belly pork whith is cheapest and fattiest (and I think best tasting) BACK which is from the fillet, leanest and most commonly used in UK, and COLLAR which is self explanitary and somewhere between the other two. Best sandwich on the planet Bacon and Egg scalding hot and dripping all over the place!

Any other culinary delights I can help you with, trust me I'm a cook.
