Any thoughts on these tourmaster leather jacket and pants?  Anyone have them?  The price seems right.

Ever since I saw the video of crashes posted on this site,  I can't stop thinking about buying leather gear.

Thanks

I am not a big fan of leather pants, LOL
But the jacket is really nice

This is almost exactually what I am looking for.
I do know that First gear puts a 10yr warrenty on there gear.
The warrenty alone sold me.

I have the Tourmaster Cortech Coaster leather jacket and I'm pretty happy with it. It's a good quality leather jacket with CE armor at shoulders and elbows, and foam back pad. Only problem I have is it gets pretty hot waiting at stop light under sun, but which leathr jacket doesn't, right? When I bought it a couple months ago I was riding a cruiser, it goes fine with both cruiser and sports bikes. Magnum ajcket is more sporty and looks good :)

It's a little cheper here http://www.motoemporium.com/tourmaster/tourmastermagnum.html

I bought mine from www.imotorscylestore.com, but I wouldn't recommend them. They were extremely slow at processing and shipping my order.

Edit: I forgot to mention that these jackets go tighter than others. I am normally size M, but it was too tight, I exchanged it for Large. It's recommended to order one size up than your usual.

Another thing is, a friend of mine tried to order Magnum this week. Although some stores show it in stock, it's apparently back ordered in most stores till the end of July.

The people at newenough are wonderful, and I figure it's worth a couple extra bucks to know that you have decent people willing to help you get the right gear for you.

I got a Joe Rocket 2-pc leather suit through them, and love it.

My only comment on the leathers you linked would be that they're black.  Which incidentally is not the most visible color.  It's mad stylish, but I'd rather look like a Power Ranger if it catches the eye of someone who would otherwise find me invisible.    In fact, major requirements for my purchase were that the outfit be yellow, and leather.  And that's not to match my bike.

Just my 2 cents.

I have the magnum jacket . I love it. I am 6'1" 150lbs (all upper body of course )  and wear a medium with all inserts in. Fits great. GOOD STURDY LEATHER. looks cool. worth every penny.

Thanks Cozy.... That is what I wanted to hear.  If you don't mind me asking, what is your chest measurement?  The reason I ask is because according to newenough, they run small.
