My buddy's son has been looking for a bike.  He's 17 and wants to ride a bike like his dad's cool friend (me   ). I suggested a GS500 or ex500 as a starter.  Well he found a purplr 95 GS500, clean and with new tires for $1300.  Not too bad I'd say.

No picture yet, but lets welcome David Keller to the GS family :thumb: I'll forward this link to him so he can see what a greatplace this is :thumb:

Welcome David, get ready to have lots of fun on your new bike!  I wish I was that young when I got my first bike.  Oh well, better late then never, eh?

Welcome Buddyson to the GS twin.com GS500 message forum and circus. Good deal on the bike, and If you're like me you will love your little GS500 and you will cherish this forum. Please browse and post and reply at will. Lovin' It, lovin' It, the bike and the forum.

I don't think I've ever admitted this to anybody but scratch, but I would have LOVED having a purple GS500.  Fate decreed that I should end up with the complementary color instead: YELLOW.

That's OK ... "it's all good".

Welcome to GStwin!
