ok.. so i got fork seals fixed... i got my oil filter cap thing fixed.. and my bike is running good... EXCEPT for one thing!.. well a couple things.. but i believe they are tied together...

so my bike takes freakin forever to warm up... it freakin sucks... and if it could just warm up nicely that would be cool.. but it has problems warming up... it either revs really high and gets all noisy or it drop real low and shuts off... i dont knwo what the hell is wrong... but its just freakin annoying.. i have to warm up my bike for like 10 minutes at least... before i can go anywhere... and here comes my other problem... if i decide to take my bike out before its 10 minute warm up period... i come to a stop and i have to keep revving my bike.. so that the bike doesnt die... if i dont and just come to a stop.... my bike dies... it turns off... and its really annoying .. especially when you have a car behind you... ........... so does anybody know how to fix this damn problem...? or how to get rid of it.. or what the hell is wrong ???... please help me out.. let me know.. what i got to do... much thanks

Have your carbs been rejetted? It will warm up faster once rejetted. Check out this rejetting tutorial for more info.

It sounds like its pretty normal for a gs to warm up slowly. Maybe not to the point to which you are describing, but I let my bike run for several minutes before I go anywhere and i usually leave the choke partially on for a mile or so once I get moving.

Even with the rejetting, it still takes a couple of minutes, but just leave the choke on at least halfway the first few miles, and that should help. You'll idle a bit high, but thats the point.

Adjust the choke until you get the idle you want. Ride a few miles like that, then shut the choke completely when warm. Works every time for me.
