Speed typing classes, here I come!!!

OK, so it doesn't bother me. It is kinda funny, though. Then again, it doesn't take much to make me laugh when I'm tired.

Quote from: goatit looks like the pic of kerry's plate says 1999 model year and has a manf. date of 4/98. Not sure what it all means, though.

Actually, due to all the knowledge that I have learned, Kerry actually owns a '98 (cheaper insurance!). All vehicles manufactured after the beginning of the fifth month of the year are considered the next year's model. A 5/98 would be considered a '99. I learned this as a motorcycle salesman.

So, I'm curious as to how Kerry's became a '99, except that Suzuki has a history of using up old spools of wire to complete wiring harnesses, irregardless of the color.

But, in my opinion, if the VIN has an 'X' in it denoting a '99, it's a '99.

Also, it is the correct color for that year ('99).
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.
