What LEDs, light cover, and turns signals did you use?

I'm curious:

If you stand 50-100 feet behind your bike at night, and point a flashlight at the rear, do you see any RED reflection?  (Guess you could perform the same test with a car.)

That's what most drivers would recognize as the rear of a vehicle, which might be helpful when parked.  And in Oregon (don't know about your state laws) it's actually a requirement to have the taillight incorporate a red reflector.

yeah, i've heard it kinda reflects and can barely be seen if a car is following too closely.  the farther away the car, the more visible it is.  so i just leave them behind far enough to see me  :thumb:

taillight is for a cbr11xx 97-98 with a slight modification, both leds have 52 clusters in them so that's 104 total which makes them very bright.

the signals are short stalk 2 dual filament but i didn't connect the running light.  they are brighter than stock.

I like the turn signals. Where did you pick those up? How difficult to install?

bought them from parts411.com  20$ for a pair of carbon fibers, they have different color casing as well.  wasn't difficult to install at all.  direct bolt-in.  cut off the wire from the stocks and reconnect with your new ones.  very easy.
