Fitting GS500F's tank, seat and tail section

Would it be possible to fit the current model GS500F's tank, seat and tail section to my 1995 GS500E (with or without modifications)?

I've seen at least one person voice suspicions that the space between frame rails under the tank is wider on the 01+ GSes.  But I dunno, they didn't change anything else, so maybe not.

Yes its possible. Some of the mounting tabs are located slightly differently,  but its not impossible to mount it with a little figuring.
