My new bike FINALLY arrived this week, here it is after it's first bath.

I used to own an '02 gs5. I heard that the gs5f has a wider seat. Do you know if it is true? With the fairing off the gs5f looks identical to my gs5.
   By the way is the fairing easy to remove. I plan on removing it when I get my new gs5f

Thats not the F it is a 2004 GS500E i too was going to buy one of these but settled for a 03 model for slightly cheaper in $$$ also i couldnt wait the few weeks before the new models arrived.

Yeah as c0R said, this is an Aussie model. Identical to US model GS500F, minus the fairing, and of course a different headlight. We also have the 'F' available here, in yellow and in blue. $7,700 on-road, bargain!

edit: PS c0r, how effective is that windscreen, and where did you get it?

Ive found to get alot more protection around my torso and chest area from this small screen by head still cops a blast. c0r.
