The wrong tire was shipped, but fit and the price was right.

Don't let 'em rile ya spazzy.  I did my longest trip on a 130/90-17 Cheng Shin Hi-Max.  Not only that, but the tire lasted the longest of any rear tire so far.

OK, so I prefer the feel of the BT45H.  But I wouldn't sneeze at a gift Hi-Max!

Yes more people finally agreeing with me... Cheng shaZam! ... lovely... yes its made out of hard plastic... but lasts for ever and is great on wet roads...

I've "agreed with you" on this for a couple years now, Srinath.    (See my post in the Can someone tell me something about this tire? CS HI-MAX thread.) I finally wore that tire out back in ... 2001?  Early 2002 at the latest.

While searching I was reminded that davipu had a 130/90-17 Hi-Max mounted when he rode ALL THE WAY across the country and back several weeks ago.  Does anyone need a better recommendation than that?  

I'm not saying I'd mount another one "on purpose", but then again I might.  They're great for long hauls, and I'm planning a 6K+ trip for next year.  The price is certainly right!

The tire's a Maxis Promax... Not the greatest quality but good for the price!

Wouldn't put it on anything more powerful than a GS though..... Not very good at high speed.
