go back to the stock sized tires, or as close as posible, Junkyard is a good source for rotors and drums that can be gotten cheap, 20 per rotor, and 15 per drum, (average prices)  shoes will be about 24$ and pads will run about the same new, ive used pads and shoes from junkyards but you must make sure they are in good shape and have not be contaminated by any fluids. grease, oil, brake fluid(finger prints dont count).  having drums and rotors cut is about 8-12$ each.  you can do all 4 for under 200$ if you take your time.   I have never been able to pay that kinda money for repairs, always had to find other means,   ive put junkyard pads on a Grooved rotor for a month till i had the cash to buy a new rotor and pads.
depending on how bad  'what' is, you might be able to Bandade it will new pads and drive easy till you can locate new stuff resonbly priced, and say new front next paycheck, and new rear 2 paychecks later.  Im not saying half ass the repairs, im saying think.  you install used parts on GS's, cars are no different.   Used parts ARE OEM, its no different if you ran some parts on your car for a month, then took them off and put on something else, is there anything wrong with the other parts? No, they are just not new anymore.    you can save alot of money this way, specialy by doing it yourself.
Accelerate like your being chased, Corner like you mean it, Brake as if you life depends on it.
