Frankly its not the dogs that are the problem, its the damn owners... They think their dogs are little pieces of heaven, and they pee diamonds and crap gold.

I had neighbors from an Asian country- They went through so many dogs...  every month there was a new one.  One morning they were preparing for a  big family BBQ and there was a big, dead, hairless, dog looking animal lying in their garage...  

"Come ober ta nite... we cook meat."

Nah, bring a golf club and play doggie polo.  Ride around the neighborhood, wait for a dog to chase your bike, and take a big whack at it as it approaches  :mrgreen: Just remember to wear your leathers... dog bites tend to hurt a bit! :guns:

Is that a Sharpei? I saw one the other day and got to give it a pat. Only a puppy with all the baggy skin. Great looking dogs, what is their temprament like?

yes it is a shar-pei.
i feel these are great dogs,
She was so easy to train. Within a week
At first she was a little Active, little Chewing here @ first stopped quick.
a few accidents on the floor, Thank God it was hard wood flooring.
Actually Now that she has calmed a bit she is about a year old now,
There are only a few downsides to a shar-pei.
1 When they eat or drink, you must be right near them to clean them up or they will make a mess out out of whatever there snout comes into contact with ( Sloppy Eaters, Short Snout )
2 They do lose some wrinkles as they age. But they start to get them back @ the age of 5ish.

Excellent, a new photo would be great. I know where you're coming from with the soggy face. My boxer was the messiest eater ever. He also drooled like a bandit, like 2 foot long, then took great delight in shaking his head to share the joy. Funniest thing was watching him try to swim. Only the second dog I have ever seen sink. To the bottom.

BB gun. That reminds me...I am thinking of Pavlov's experiment when telling this story: There were a male and female rottweilers that used to live next door. And they would always bark in the middle of the night at NOTHING! So anoying. So I bought a high powered rifle bb gun. I would open my window and pump it and bam! Wouldn't hear them for hours. They would go scurrying around the other side of the house where I couldn't see them. Smart. When they would bark I had a procedure to get them to stop. I would knock on the window (this usually never worked), unlock window (this made a unique sound), open window(very loud), yell, pump gun, yell again, shoot. Eventually they started running at the sould of me unlocking the window. Smart dogs
  Sometimes they would go around the house and bark where I couldn't get to them, so I, being the rational animal I am, learned to ricochet off the other house. Evenually they ran away. Was it because of me? I don't think so but then again... I didn't know wether to be sad or glad. Ahhh...memories.
