Saw my first GS500F in the wild today

Driving the cage today I see a bike coming the other way, and flip thru my metal recognition charts to determine what it was.
A blue Yamaha of some sort?
nope looks like a Suzuki.
A GSXR?
What displacement?
Oh, its a GS500 as it flashes by.

Cool, someone bought that blue F at the dealer.

There's two on the drexel campus here in phila. I took Java with a guy who had just got one. I feel so under dressed on my '98.  that bike seems to be taking off.

I'm seeing lots of them around, particularly yellow ones. I'd say from my personal observations that the gs is making a comeback.

I've only seen one other GS500F in town, and it is blue like mine. I've only seen it once, maybe it was just passing through. But he was riding with another guy on a Ninja.

The GS500F looks cooler in motion, I think...but I am a bit partial. =)
