...2200 miles = gone!  The dealer synced the carbs (exactly to spec) at 1200 or so miles and the noise continued unabated.  :x  Now, after reving it to 8-9K with some consistency for a thousand miles, the noise has quietly slipped away.  :dunno:   I( wonder what finally loosened-up (or ground away)?
