Final Battery Thoughts?

Ok guys, I've read through almost all of the old threads here on batteries, and thought I'd help clear it up for everybody as I was somewhat confused after reading through all of them, as far as which numbers were stock, which were sealed, etc etc.  So, I thought everybody could chime in with what they have on their bike, and we could just mention this thread to guys that have only Walmarts in their area, or no Walmarts but Kragen/Checker or Advanced Auto or whatever they might have.

I have a:

Champion 12BS on it's side.  Sealed/no maintenance.

Bought at: Kragen Auto Parts, in stock at Visalia, CA. for 70 dollars and 7 bucks core charge.

I also checked with:

Pep Boys- 1 regular group 12, nothing sealed.
Walmart- 2 or 3 regular group 12, nothing sealed.
Sears- nothing in that size at all.

I've got a battery that came from Autozone for about $40.  The drain, however, is on the wrong side, so I picked up a brass barb from the Lowe's plumbing department and used that to connect the hoses.
