Help!? Valve Shims

Need help. Recently acquired bike and checking valve clearance it appears all my shims are too big. Can't get 0.038mm feeler (smallest size I have) between shim and cam on any valves so I can't determine what size shims I need to buy. Thought I'd be smart and get a 2.15mm shim (smallest size available) and measure all then get the needed sizes. None of the dealers in a 50 mile radius stock the shims. All of them want $13.50 or more and say it'll take a week to get them. Can anybody sell or loan me a spare so I can figure out which sizes I really need? I think i would like 2.40mm or smaller to hopefully allow measurement of all 4 valves.

did you check with dgyver, he's also from SC and he's a racer so I'm sure he has some shims laying around.
