SHe was running fine until i started to give her a wash,  Now i turn the key and hit the start and nothing, not even a peep.  The lights come on, headlight works, but the blinkers stay lit when turned on (no blinking).  Need help, hope some one can help.  I don't know electrical stuff.

Make sure the neutral lite is on...also check the gas...petcock on reserve if nothing else works.....neutral lite on, squeeze the clutch and hit the ignite.....good luck.  :dunno:

Let it air out for a while before panicking.

...

THEN panic!  (Just kidding.)

It's tempting to associate the non-blinking turn signals with the non-starting engine, there shouldn't be much of a connection.  (If you like you can trace through the Haynes wiring diagram to convince yourself that there aren't very many common connections.)

But I'm not really an expert on all things electrical.  Perhaps Dr. John Bates can offer some clues.  Meanwhile, see what you can learn from the old turn signals that do not flash thread.

As for the ignition ... let it air out for a while and see if the symptoms change.   :dunno:
