1st time engine died

well today it happened, never thought it would happen to me. while at a stop light my engine started cutting out. then it just died. good thing i was going down hill. went off road and check my tank. well would you know it it seems like have 1/4 of gas left! im standing there scratching my head. check the petcock and it was on...ON. check the tank again then petcock. turn the petcock to res and bike was o.k. till i got to a gas station. gas up and she was good to go. whew. anyways it sucks cause i still have the gas that the dealership put it and only have 110 miles on her. i thought i can go 150-200 on a full tank. wierd

The dealer doesn't always fill the tank all the way up

I'm glad you thought to check the petcock.  People don't realize they need to switch over sometimes
