those do look real nice, how much did they set you back? i can't imagine them being any less than $125, i was trying to get some clipons from srinath, but lately been looking at his other bars he makes for a few reasons, but those vortex bars look great

Thanks! :thumb:   They were about $130.  The dealer gave me a discount b/c I ordered $600 in parts at once.

clip-ons look awesome...

werase i have a question about the pro-flo clip ons...what size would our little gs be?  how hard is it to install, and what does installation entail?  would i have to take my triple clamp to the machine shop like anaravia did?

The fork size is 37mm so any 37mm clip-on should work.

You can. Infact I did while the part was getting machined.  But the instrament cluster is mounted to it.  That's why I kept it.

Quote from: aNaRaVia.....Should I write a How-To or is this commonly known/done around here?

please do. i really want to do this mod. looks great!

GRU

i would not recommend doing that mod....if you lower the front by 1" or more it will change the handling and other things which isn't good

if you want clip-ons, remove the headlight bracket and find another way to hold the headlight, then you can put the clip-ons where they are supposed to go......under the upper triple
