finicky lil gs!!!

so i had the fuel starvation while the petcock is "ON" problem a month or so ago, so i've just been running my bike on "PRI" and everything's gravy...but today on a longer ride i forgot to switch it to "PRI" and ran the whole way on "ON" w/o any problems whatsoever!!!  i mean im not knocking the fact that the "ON" switch works now but my lil gs must be one temperamental bike!! lol

On the flip side...

On Saturday's Ride I finally had a small taste of "fuel starvation" in the ON position.

I was tooling up a slight incline for 30+ miles doing an indicated 90 - 100 mph.  I had ridden less than 100 miles on a freshly-filled tank when I felt a bit of hesitation come ... and go.  When I felt it again I switched the petcock to the PRIme position for about 15 seconds, then to REServe for a couple minutes, and finally back to ON.  It never hesitated again, but that could be because the road leveled out soon afterwards.  I stopped to fill up again and only put in 2.115 gallons.  :dunno:

Golly, I feel like I've joined a (not-so-exclusive) club!
