SeaFoam in cranckcase?

I know SeaFoam is supposed to be good in the gasoline, for cleaning the carbs and stabilizing the gas and curing baldness and all that.  I also know some have used it in their oil on some other bikes.  (I did with my CB250 as per someone's advice.)  Anybody tried it in the oil on a GS for, say, helping to unstick the rings and improve compression?  Any good reason not to?

Seafoam is somehting like a bit of ammonia, some methanol, something like brake fluid or ATF, and kerosene... its a light penetrating and cleaning fluid... not a lubricative super oil... like prolong or other BS.

Edit... So I dont belive it will harm the clutch much, it will probably attempt to loosen up and clear out all the burnt oil and other assorted gunk from inside the motor... making it dangerous it its own way... but most likely... it wont do anything discernible.
