I agree Frost,  :guns: the GS carbs  

Don't get me wrong, this is my first bike and I love tinkering around with it as much as the next guy, but there comes a point when I am spending waaayyyy too much time getting the bike to run properly. Isn't the whole idea of buying a motorcycle is to RIDE IT :x

Anyways, I currently have my carbs dismantled b/c of problems with proper idle, carbs starving for fuel, and leaky manifold/gaskets.

Plan of action:
replace diaphragm in carbs
replace carb gaskets/o-rings
replace intake manifolds
replace gaskets around crankcase & valve cover
clean carbs
check float bowl height
replace tank petcock with Pingel aftermarket

Once all this is done and I get the bike running correctly I'm going to take it out on my first TrackDay. Afterwards, I'm going to sell it and buy me a bike with EFI. Looks like Suzuki finally headed my cries and put out some better color schemes for 2005:

2005 SV650s (gotta love the new black frame/rims look )

2005 SV1000s (black should be standard color on all models)

2005 SV1000s (red)

or a 2005 GSX-R600 (would need to lower the seat an inch though)


Which to buy :dunno: decisions, decisions
