Worth putting on a SV650 Shock?

What are your opinions on putting on a SV650 shock?  I know the katana 600 is the shock of choice, but I cant seem to find one reasonably priced.

I won a sv650 shock on ebay.....I bid $.99 and won!!  I didnt think I would win, but hey, with shipping it is only 14 bucks.

So, is it worth the time and effort to cut the clevis and redrill a hole in the katana shock, or am I better off just leaving the stock shock on the ole GS?

By the way, you should all hound dgyver to make up a thread with his GSXR shock in stall if he hasnt done so already.
