Im new to the world of bikes but i just purchased a 2004 GS550F which i absolutly love!.  I bought it yesterday with 2 miles on it and just got done today riding it now shows 125   :mrgreen:    This looks like a great board and  im glad to be a part of it.   :)

welcome mr pink. Check out the home page to www.gstwin.com for lots of links to maintenance and modification info as well as my page, link below for more useful info and lots of mod ideas.

Keep in mind that the F is basically the 01/02 model with fairings, essentially identical save for one or two things. The 89-00 bikes are also mechanically very, very similar but with a few differences. major difference is the bodywork (obviously) and the carburetor size/jets.
