Quote from: octanesrinath...always the analyzer!! IMO the 512 Testarossa is a bit cliche'd. Beautiful car, no doubt, but a little too Hollywood for my taste. For a newer than 60's Ferrari I'd have to go with the 1985 288GTO...understated (for a Ferrari!) but badass.

And kit cars open a whole new can o' worms. I'd have to go with the FFR Cobra Daytona. I'm not big on droptops.

The TR might be a bit cliche yes, but I think its understated... I do like the GTO ( :thumb:  on the old GTO ) but somehow the TR flows and is easier on the eyes and I think its under stated compared to the GTO... The old GTO is better than the new GTO In my eyes, but still in my eyes too many sharp corners and chunky looking pieces bolted on... seemingly at random ...
Delorean... yea the white lines on the road disappear ... Old coke head joke ... but that was a lovely car even if its a bit under powered for this company...
Cool.

'67 Mustang GT fastback with the 390, or a '69 Mustang Boss 302(although the '64 1/2 with the K-code 289 is also tempting). The little Lotus Elise was nice, too.

Right now driving a '93 Mustang convertible.

Out of the modern cars, really only the MINI Cooper S with the John Cooper Works package.

dream car?  primer black 1970 roadrunner with a roots blown, fuel injected stroked big block....1964 galaxie, twin turbo'd efi 302, airbags....1st generation 240Z with a chevy 383, vortech supercharged.  I've already got the 240, maybe someday it'll actually break the tires loose at 60 mph and make kids in civics wet their pants but that's many miles of weld bead away....stupid rust belt....

Yup it's pronounced Kate-er-ham alright, winner of the acceleration trials for three out of the last five years, including this year knocking Ferrari, Porsch, Lambourgini and all the big "glam" names into a cocked-hat. Truely the nearest thing to a bike with extra eheels.

Gryhound- Ever been to www.darius240z.com??  He's got a LT1 383 procharged supposedly running some 20 PSI.  Check out his video page for some crazy sideways action, plus a Yamaha R1 vs his 240.  Sweet little car!!!

That Catheram looks a little bit like the old Morgans. And the old MG's(the A-model, or was it the TD?). Either way, nice  :thumb:

Catheram bought the rights to the Lotus Seven from Lotus and have improved the car over the years.  The Seven has always been available as a kit.

There are other companies that build a similiar looking car. This one is an American version - The Stalker:

well, that one doesnt have the vette engine in it, if i remember right they had an inline six cyl,  and rollover headlights. i remember my dad had one and it was a neat little car. i seen one at the dragstrip that had a blown (supercharged) SBC in it, he also had a clear plexi floorboard so he can see out past his feet when he launched off the line.

Those CTS-V's sound damn good on the throttle too! Though I gotta say the most pleasing sound of the weekend came from the Maserati Light GT's. Damn, what a sweet sound.
