Okay, so I thought I found a really good deal on a cobra slip on.  $60 for a new F1R that was for "Suzuki."  I get the package in the mail today and apparently I received two slip-ons.  Pull out the paperwork and I find out that I'm an idiot and managed to order a pair of slip ons for a 1988 GSXR750 on clearance.  Returning them isn't an option.  The attachment end of the muffler looks way to big (possibly a 1/4 inch larger in diameter or more) and the angle isn't right.  I was thinking I could fabricate a spacer out of pipe to fill the gap and create an extension on the mounting point for the can but...  are all of the F1R's the same except for the mounting pieces or is this a larger can in general.  Will it be too unrestrictive for the little GS?  Anyone have any specific suggestions for making it fit (what kind of pipe to use as a spacer, etc.)?  Thanks!

Take a trip up to your local auto parts store.  Mine has a bunch of exhaust adapters with different sizes on each end.  You can probably fab something up and then sell the other GSXR can and make a profit :)  The exhaust doo-dads are only a couple bucks but you'll have to be handy with a hacksaw and welder.
