This was way quicker than I thought but the Boston PD found my bike, or what was left of it, after it was set ablaze somewhere in jamaica plain.
I guess a burning motorcycle attracts some attention. I just can't believe it. The only thing I can imagine is that some stupid bastards thought they were getting a liter gixxer and then realized it wasn't what they wanted.  :x  :guns:  :x  :guns:

I'm gonna go to the pound where the remains are being kept this weekend.

I have a deal with my landlord to use his locked backlot as a parking spot for only $15 a month. Bike #2 will be stored there, chained to a pole, with an alarm. And yes, that 12 ga. will be within arms reach loaded with pyro rounds. Hey they set fire to my bike, I'll set fire to them. :guns:

In fact, I'm gonna get a blaze pink vespa scooter as my next bike and wear a jacket with glitter tassels and STILL be considered a Manly Man by all who see me on the road.

Are you going to wait until the spring to buy?  Is it true that its cheaper to buy bikes in the winter, if you can handle 'last year's model'?

The dealers around here seem to get a bunch of bikes in Nov/dec, and sell them like hot cakes... if the bike is still around in May then it goes on clearance sale...

Damn. I'm gonna have to post some pics after I develop them. I saw the remains of my bike at the tow pound. The whole thing looked as if were caught in the middle of a napalm strike. Just a charred skeleton. it was weird going there to claim my bike. It sorta felt as if I was going over to a morgue to claim someone I knew. When I saw it I was stunned as to how totally gone it was. my friend who was with me asked how I could be sure it was my bike. Besides the serial number, I rubbed off some ash from what was left of the brake lever. Aftermarket Aluminum/carbon fiber pattern. Yup, the fingerprints matched.
