Dose anyone know where I can get OEM part for a 04 suzuki gs500?? I want to see if I can find then cheaper then what the dealers want.

Don't mind me I'm just new.

Also Ron Ayers.  The '04 fiche aren't available yet, so use the '02 fiche unless you need an '04-specific part (fairing, oil cooler and associated hardware, front fork, etc).

Like I said, go with parts for the 2002.  In the particular case of the clutch lever, I went through the "watershed years" (1989, 1990-2000, 2001+) on BikeBandit and found that the clutch lever was different in 1989 than in 1990, but that it hasn't changed since (up through 2002 anyway).

Ignoring paint schemes, there were notable parts changes in:

1990 (tubular handlebars and new controls)

    1994 (front sprocket change)

    1996 (front caliper change)

2001 (numerous cosmetic changes, larger tank, new carbs)

2004 (fairing, oil cooler, front forks, possibly front caliper)[/list]

But other than the things mentioned I'm not aware of any changes between 2001 and 2004.

Alright that good news, But it's not just the clutch hand leaver it's the hole thing ( I need the part that connects the clutch hand leaver to the bars) I don't know whats it call but I didn't see it on the parts diagram. Also would the the throtter body fit on my bike? and dose it have the little nub on it that fit in the hole on the handle bar?

Oh, you mean the "clutch perch".  The whole assembly is Item 8 on this BikeBandit diagram.  (For the related price list go here.)  You can apparently buy the nuts and bolts separately, but you can't buy the perch without having them all included.  (The perch doesn't have its own part number.)

I'm pretty sure that ALL of the handlebar-related hardware is the same between 2001 and 2004.
