Ok, I'm using my fiancee's account, so this is not actually Bluedevil.  That said, double check that the header pipe is the same diameter (SV's are pretty big).

If it is compatable, that Yosh is overpriced, on my '02 SVS, I got a scorpion s/s slip on shipped, for $260.00  From pipecity.com

Personally for Bluedevils exhaust, I bought a full system off a 2004 GSXR for $45 shipped, cut off the plate, put the rest on ebay and ended up with the plate and an extra $5 in my pocket.  Found a Leo Vince slip-on for the Gixxer for $121 shipped.  There are a lot more choices at reasonable prices for Gixxers than there are for any other Suzuki.

I will cut the original pipe off, weld on the connector plate, and bolt up the leo vince.  If she changes her mind, there are literally hundreds of options for that Gixxer connector plate!

Good luck to you.

I have pipes that will fit and of course the offset flange... only thing...on a 04 you need it welded on... My slip fit isnt 04 ready yet. The usual 125, gets you flange and carbon or titanium can (your choice - you look like a titanium man ..   )
Cool.

I figure since you are welding it... I'll send a flange with the big hole in it. You cut your muffler off right at the weld... you could in fact cut the header at the weld... and place the can and flange on it and make sure it looks and fits right... Oh BTW you'll have to be near a welder ... not neccesarily muffler shop, welder will be enough (dont know if those are easier to find in your area, they are around here) Locate and position the can and the flange will be on the header obviously... then tack the thing on the header. Remove the can, it is metal and wont burn up really but easier to work with it off,and possibly keep it looking prettier without the burns   , then maybe tack some more or if the guy can get all around it he can weld it, or take off the exhaust (yea pain on the 04 cos you got the fairing...) and weld it, then wait for it to cool and paint it... then fit it back and then fit the can and gasket... for positioning dont use gasket... might burn and ... voila   ...
You might have to grind the hole in the flange a bit, or you may have to fill the hole a bit while welding... We dont exactly know which position it will end up in... and its not the slipper type that can rotate... BTW your headers are 2 inch dia OD right... 89-00 were 1 and 3/4. The later ones were even tighter than the old type... and I had enough trouble with that  :x ...
Cool.
