Tour Master Cortech GX Pant - Any experiences?

Hey guys, looking at the Tour Master Cortech GX Pant,  and it seems good despite its lack of CE approved armor.   The triple density knee armor is adjustable, which is why I am really looking at this pant.

Anyone know the good word on how "protective" these are?

There's also an air pant which would be nice in socal but I'm afraid of mesh even more than I'm afriad of how I'd look in leather pants *shiver*
