Hello everyone. I'm just letting everyone here from NE know that if your looking to upgrade to a bigger bike than you can come check out Best Cycle on Amherst Street in Nashua NH. They have about 10 Gixxer 1000s left over from '03. They're all silver though. I was planning on getting an '05 R1 in the spring but Best Cycle are letting the '03 1000s go for 8k a pop and it's NH so no tax. I might just get one of these in the Spring or mid winter. They'll probably let them go for 7.5k. They said they have so many left over because no one likes silver. All the '04s and blue '03s were sold like the day they got them but no one wanted silver so they have a lot left over. Here's a pic.

2003 GSX-R1000
MSRP: $10,499.00
Price Now at Best Cycle Nashua: $8,099

So for the price of a new 600CC you can get a brand new (leftover '03) GSX-R 1000. Not to shabby if you ask me.

A GSXR 1K is more of a giant leap than an uprgade

more than triple the power of our GS.  I remember when the '03's were introduced and more than a few were crashed by the motojournalists that were caught off guard by the power :o

In Cricket the testicular guard, or Box, was introduced in 1874. The helmet was introduced in 1974. Is there a message??
