I know this has been asked and asked and for that i apoligize for the redundant thread but im having a problem finding a slip on.  Now i had the dealer order me a cobra fz1 (i belive thats what it's called) slip on, i called a week later and they tell me it's discontinued  :x .   I have searched high and low for a slip on.  Vance and hines told me they only make a full system.  I have an 04 gs but i was trying to get one for an 02 since they don't make one speficially for an 04 yet, but i figured it would fit or could be made to fit on an 04.  The reason im trying to find one asap is because i have the jet kit and k&n filter and i want a slip on installed at the same time for maximum benifit of the jet kit and the tuning factor of the jett kit.  Does anyone know a link or manufacturer that still makes just a slip for older gs's or the new gs's would be great i would greatly appreciate it. Im about ready to give up cause this dealer has been screwing me over. TIA

I am in the same situation myself, 04 GSf (blue)
All I can say is, the next best thing to going with a full system, is nice e-bay can.
It's what im going to do... just get a mufler shop to install it.


look for a cool looking can; carbon fiber, shiney, painted whatever you want... 50 to 100 USD
just get a credit card and E-BAY

any can is an inprovment over stock, try looking at some 600 slipons.
check the pipe meashurements before u buy it.

and listen to the aftermarket,               hi-flow,                sound        

dunno tho, i'm thinking of straight pipes coming out the bottom of the fairng....
It is high temp plastic..some sparkers for my boots... noone will mess with me then. ahhahahhahah

OK Cobra is shaZam! ... its made of shaZam! and falls apart ... and it sounds like crap ...metallic and rattly ...
