'04 Vance and Hines Update

Don't know if this is any help to anyone but.......

We've never test fitted it onto the '04 GS500F so fitment cannot be
confirmed.  However, I've had plenty of dealers call in saying that they've
had no problems installing it onto the '04 GS500F.

Ditto.  The only product that V&H carries for the GS anymore is the exhaust.

I know that there is a market for the ignition advancer, why don't you guys produce one anymore?  If it was because of a poor return on investment, I understand.  But if all of the places that used to carry them, like parts411.com, are sold out then wouldn't that mean that there is a demand?  I have spoke with people at parts411 and they have told me in person that they still get tons of requests for the ignition advancer for the '89-'00 models.  

Maybe you should consider that people who buy the GS500 aren't looking for an expensive bike, but they are willing to make simple and inexpensive mods like the addition of an ignition advancer.  And since there has been a resurgence of motorcycle enthusiasm in the past few years and since people have a much greater DIY attitude with all the chopper TV shows, Monster Garage, etc. people are more willing to do their own mods.  Advertise how simple the mod is and the benefits that it provides and you will make a killing.  My $0.02
