Removing the evap can and other emission junk

Has anyone removed and their evap can and plugged the carb vac ports? Can you plug the seperator port on the tank or just vent to atmosphere? i think that this stuff might be causing a vac problem

the hose that goes from the tank to the carbs should be capped (at the carbs) the hose from the tank is vented to atmosphere.  I routed mine where the other hoses vent; down in front of the battery

On my bike I have the line that used to go to the canister capped. The line coming off the bottom of the tank is a tank overflow. It is there to drain extra gas if you overfill. Do not connect it to the "vent" line on the carbs.

Anything that goes down that line will go right into your carbs. That is how my bike was setup when I got it. For a whole season I was wondering why when it rained my bike would run terrible. Water was going down that line right into my carbs.

what are you talking about? noone told him to connect the vent line to the carbs..... the line from the tank should be VENTED.... as in, let drain out off of the bike......
