Will a 2004 fairing fit on a 2002 GS?

I was just wondering if that would work. I'd really like the fairing, HL and, windshield on my '02! Thanks for the info.

With the correct mounting brackets, it should work. Everything else is the same between the two years.

I was at the Suzuki dealer last night and had a look at an '04 to see what needed to be done for this mod.  You will need to weld a bracket onto the front of the steering neck, then drill and tap about 4 or 5  holes on each side of the frame, although I think the bottom brackets mount to the underside of the front engine mounts.  This is pretty much a one-way mod, meaning that if you ever want to go back to naked you will have all kinds of unsightly holes in the sides of your frame the bracket off of the stem which will make mounting the original(or any) headlight pretty darn cumbersome.

Well you can always plug the holes with rubber plugs, paint the plugs the same color and all you see is circular marks ont he frame no big. As for the bracket up front, i dont know since i havent looked but i assume it could be hacked off and ground down and sanded smooth. Seems like a good mod, but it will probably cost you an arm and a leg. Better to sell your GS and BUY a '04F IMO.

at the cost of the fairings... sell your gs and buy an 04.
