Finally got the GD picture to post:

And the Monster in it's original state:

Street legality?  One would have to add turn signals, fenders, and mirrors, of course...[/img]

It doesn't work for me. I registered, but I haven't gotten the activation email yet.

Hmmm, sorry 'bout that.  I tried to upload it to my photo gallery but my email is down. :(

Time for bed anyway.  I'll do it in the morning...you guys really have to see this.

Quads is what they are called here. (If I understand correctly what you are trying to describe.)

I have always wanted a street legel Quad!!
A friend of mine races quads and said that there are quite a few with better than 100mph top speeds.... mmmmm how sweet.
Put some nice sticky, wide street tires on one, tune the suspension for road burning. How cooooool would that be?!?!?!?!

Common sense in not very common.

That Puegot is nifty. I've seen several electric vehicles, and they sometimes use 3 wheels to get-around U.S. automotive requirements (3 wheels = motorcycle).  I've also seen them sold as "kits", which require some assembly, since this puts them in a different safety class from typical automobiles.

Other than being electric/fuel-cell, this one seems to be sold fully assembled and with 4 wheels.  I'm curious where it will fit into the U.S. regulatory system.  I wasn't aware that there was a street-legal classification for quads in the U.S.

wow!  :?

I guess it's like a motorcycle for those who can't manage to ride a REAL one, eh?   Or they are too drunk to pilot the bike, so they take the 4-wheeler instead.     hehe

Holy crap!!!!
I didnt see the pic of the Ducati!! That is the sweetest thing I have ever seen!!!!
I want one!

....not sure what to think, it seriously still looks like a bike thats been all hacked up and put on a frame (very asymetrical) that doesnt look sturdy in the first place. Hmm...interesting idea though, but i feel it falls short IMO cause it STILL looks like a hacked up bike...

I don't know about street legality here in the US (quick guess = hell no), but when I was in Spain in March I saw one with lights, mirrors, signals, plates, etc.

It was about 7:50AM, and there were two dudes in business suits and MX helmets riding it.  The rider bumpity-bumped up the curb onto the (very wide) sidewalk and stopped.  The passenger jumped off, waved, and walked into an office building while removing his helmet.  The rider growled down the sidewalk to an alley, turned into the alley, and got back into the flow of traffic on the street and blatted away.

I looked at my dad and said "Did you see that?"

"Yep."

"That was awesome!"

"Yep."

In retrospect it probably wasn't more than a 150cc engine, but it had lights/mirrors/signals and fat STREET tires.  Very cool ride to work.

In Oregon you can get a sticker to ride a quad on the street, if I remember  right all you have to have is working head, brake/tail lights and a exaust under 94 db.

JetSwing

i suppose oregon ain't that bad after all... :)

I hate Oregon.  I've had the worst of luck there... long story... it all started when I was barreling down 1-5 outside of Alnbany and my rear axle seized up.  I ended up sliding perpindicular across three lanes of traffic, nearly getting T-boned by a couple of 18 wheelers and a truck towing a boat.... $2000 dollars and two weeks later...

Never really liked quads till I saw this one.
BTW, here in Oz, dirt quads are the number one cause of deaths on farms.  Something to do with no training, no suspension, and no helmet.
