'04 GS500F Service Manual Available from Suzuki

Hi ,

I contacted Suzuki Canada about the service manual for the 500F model...should be the same for the '04 E as well.  Here was their reply:

"Thank you for contacting Suzuki Canada.

It seems there has been a miscommunication. Although the manual is now available, the information regarding the part number is not listed on SuzukiVision where the other manuals are listed.

To get this manual, your dealer should order part number 99501-34150-01E. The suggested retail price is $16.18. This manual is in stock at the Toronto warehouse and will ship same day as ordered."

Hope this helps those wondering the same thing up here in Canada, but I'm not sure if this can help you in the U.S.  Hopefully, it's straighforward as this for you also.

This is the Service Manual, we are talking about, right? Not the Owner's Manual? 'Cause I have a hard time believing this, looking at the price.

It may be something like this, a supplemental service manual that goes along with the 2002 Manual. It only contains the changes specific to the 04. Price seems about right, it's only 35 pages. I bought a 2002 Clymer along with this to cover everything on my 04.

I just confirmed with Suzuki:

"Yes, the information given relates to the service manual. Service manual part numbers always begin with 99500- whereas the owner's manuals (you can check the number on yours) always begin with 99011-."

I'm gueesing it's probably the one Shane has displayed above.
