ok, i couldn't resist so i called buymoto.com...first, their website is not complete done yet. as for the exhaust, it doesn't exist. no surprise there. the sales rep that i spoke to said he'll look for any other slip-on that may exist for gs but we already know he won't find any.

i'm not even going to bother calling other places as few others have already done so. i think this thread is pretty much dead...
My hunch was right...Pandy is the biggest Post Whore!

ok, i was wrong...buymoto called me right back and told me about the cobra exhaust. since it wasn't listed for 04 model, he had even called cobra to find out for sure...

at least they have an excellent customer service.

Cobra sucks!

Did they happen too mention *why* they have a non-existant exhaust advertised on their site?

I'm going to call all three and ask why they are advertising something that doesn't exist and then call akra and Buddha Loves You too.

lol...sorry to spoil the fun...but seriously...why would you wanna put such an expensive thing on the GS???...and it's not even a full system...
wileyco, K&N pod, rejet 22.5/65/147.5, F16 flyscreen, progressive springs, 15t front sprocket...more to come: katana shock

From what i have found out:

Akra was going to produce one, hence the part nmbers and listings on various sites.  It was in development
For whatever reason, (cheap GS owners?) they are apparently not putting it into production.

Therefore that leaves the folowing:

Cobra slip-on=junk
Jardine slip-on--questionable availability/quality
Vance and Hines full system=very good
Remus Grand Prix full stainless system with titanium, carbon, or aluminum can=best, but about $650-$700 as opposed to $250-$300 for V&H.

This one is probably better than Yoshimura and is made in Germany.  You get what you pay for.....
