Check a few (July 2004) sintered pad prices on my GS500 Brake Parts list.

PS - Are you LOOKING for sintered pads?  Or just anything...?

$21 shipped?  Yeah, that's a good deal on the pads.

But I still wonder if you really want sintered pads in the rear.  I could see them on the front.

I guess it depends on how you personally tend to react in an emergency stop situation.  You want to be able to keep that rear tire rolling if possible.  A straight skid is best avoided, but no big deal.  However, highsiding because you stomped on the rear brake with a "bitey" pad -- and then let up -- is something you will kick yourself for later.

Just checking!

Hmmm.  You sound desperate, so I'll make you a deal.  :)

How about $10 (shipped) for my EBC Kevlar takeoffs?  For that price I'd rather keep them, but since they're just sitting around and you need 'em....  :dunno:

You can see a picture of them in the HOW TO: Rear Rotor Replacement thread in the FAQ forum.  It's the 25th image from the top, or the 9th image from the bottom.

I was surprised at how little wear they showed when I took them off.  I must be learning to rely on the rear brake less and less.  :thumb:

Anyway, let me know....
