hey guys... i've had my gs for about 3 months and just recently when i'm riding i'll have trouble shifting into gears.  what are the symptoms of a clutch gone bad and how hard is it to change one out? i've worked a lot on my car but really haven't touched my bike except to clean and oil my chain. thanks in advance for any help guys.

first thing you wanna do is check your oil level. (put on centerstand to get it accurate) If your oil is low, shifting gears will get difficult.
your clutch doesn't wear in a way that makes it more difficult to get in a gear, it usually will cause slippage if it wears out. so if your oil level is good, next check the clutch cable adjustment. maybe you have too much slack, even then, gear changes aren't too awful, i shift clutchless all the time.
hope this helps!

thanks... i tightened the clutch cable a little and my oil levels are good. i then proceeded to tighten the bolts and being stupid and in a hurry i over-torqued a bolt and it snapped on me.  :x  :x  :x  well after torquing the bolts down the clutch got a little better but there is a semi-loud pop when i shift into gear. ah well... thanks!! :)
