Quote from: moditupugh.. I had MATLAB last year in school. Thing cost me $120 just for the program which I havent used since.
The further I get in school, the more it seems that I'm expected to know this program; I however, know next to nothing about it.  I really wish I could have taken a basic class in it or something.  I feel like I'm a bit behind everyone else in my engineering classes in this respect.

Quote from: TeBoRider, I got a broken GS for Xmas as well=P.. heheh.. guess it seems to be a starting trend.

Including me the count is up to three.  I suggest all of you just park the damn bike in the garage for a few days until all of this bad Christmas juju passes.

TeBo

Is it just me??  or did this Christmas just really sucked??  Kinda didn't feel the spirit this  yr I guess..  Then again, I had to spend most of Christmas day feeding inmates in jail (I do this for a living.)...  anyways, merry xmas all..  hope next yr. would be better

Dom

You get out of it what you put in...just like anything.  I bet the inmates weren't giving off the best vibes though...might be part of what you are feeling, kind of like a crappy residue, like when you see a really sad movie or something...just sticks with you sometimes...I bet that jail can be a really hard place to be during the holidays for everyone there. :(

TeBo

heheh.. actually, These guys aren't too bad, and they try to make the best of things.  Our 3rd floor (female's ward.), actually had the girls decorate the place w/ the little that they had.  Even took one of the Red (possible threat uniforms) jumpsuits, and made a santa suit sitting in a chair.  Most of the guys play around more since it's xmas..  I just don't feel it I guess, cuz instead of being at home cookin' for family like I always have in the past, I was at work cookin' for the inmates.. but it's ok I guess..

Quote from: scratchomigosh, what happened? Hope she feels better.
Thanks for the thoughts.  Long term she should be fine.  Just slipped on the grass while harvesting a lettuce for Christmas lunch (yes, it is summer here  :) ).  Landed heavily with her foot underneath her.  She pushed it back into place before she really realised what had happened.  Has to lie in bed for a few days till the swelling goes down then they'll screw and plate it.

I got Leanings too!! I'm halfway through it already, fantastic read.

My big present was a trip to the MotoGP round at Laguna Seca!!! My wife got me two tickets to the race, airfare for two, a car rental reservation, and hotel stay!! She hates to fly and isn't a huge race fan, so she's sending my brother with me. I'm so psyched, I've never been to the West Coast. My wife is incredibly thoughtful and always gives the best gifts, but this was unbelievable. I don't know how she did it.

I also got some tools, nice clothes for my new job, and a few dvds. Great Christmas at our house!

Got an MP3 player...smaller than a bic lighter but holds 2 hours of music.  Also got an email about periodic moonlighting throughout 2005 in a town that happens to be about 2 hours away...now I have two excuses for some short trips on the GS this coming year!

My Christmas was absolutely awsome. First off is things for the bike: Progressives Springs (installed them yesterday and are great) a GSXR750 rear shock (didnt do enough research and found out its to big so now we are lookin at a Katana 600 shock) and some Joe Rcoket Phoenix gloves (these have to be the coolest golves I have ever seen). I got some model motorcycles, a couple sweaters, some new boots (these might be used for the bike time to time. Gone in 60 Seconds and Spiderman 2. Prince of Persia Warrior Within (awsome game but if anybody has this I need help. lol.) New wallet and CD case. New watch. A OCC Calendar. Some Curve cologne. And a new puppy (not really mine, more of a family puppy but still...) Ihad one cool Christmas. If anybody from my family reads this (dad) thank you all. I can't wait till I get a new rear shock and see how good these things do in the twisties. But them Progressives are awsome.

I got a case of Christmas beer on the 22nd and a fat lip from my 17 month old trying to wake me up Christmas day with a sippy cup full of milk  :thumb: He's got a good arm and great aim.

He wasn't sure if it was a friggin riot as I moaned and grabbed my face, but I was sure that he had intended it to be. I saw stars.

With three lil ones, they get the good stuff and I get to put it together. (As well as enjoy them enjoying the goods)

I did get the new Wheat disk with a gift cert from Moms, muy bueno I must say
No time to wash the bike

Something is wrong with my twin...all of a sudden it's V shaped!  Wait, no, now it's a triple!  ...and I IZ NOT a postwhore!
