On my way oh from work last night my High Beam bulb cover fell out [see picture below].  I stopped by the local Suzuki dealer and the replacements are only sold as a kit with the instrument cluster bracket for $106.99!!!

Is there a cheaper was to get my hand of a replacement plastic piece?

None of the local junkyards have any GSs around either. :dunno:

You might try this.

Go to your local auto parts store, and buy an indicator light. We used a green one for my buddy's mustang (to indicate when his electric fan was on). We bought one in green, but you might be able to buy one in blue (didnt look, we got ours from kragen). if you find one, you can take the plastic lens cover off and it looks about the right size to fit the GS high beam indicator hole. Hope this helps, ill try to find a pic of one on the Kragen website. (autozone, pep boys, any of those should carry this item)

I have vortex clip-ons.  The cluster is is connected to the plate. I just have iit machined to cut the middle out and lower the profile so it wouldn't lower the bike so much.  Also painted it back.

Any other idea's on the blue cap.  I'm going to check the auto-parts store tomarrow.

I've got a spare from a donor bike I bought. It is a little faded but should work fine. Send me an SASE and it is yours. When you get it, use clear RTV (not too much) to tack it into place.  :thumb:

I suspect the $106 is for the entire metal frame with plastic bezels/covers.

If you feel reciprocal, put something green in the envelope with the SASE.  8) PM me for my mailing address.
